Kathmandu : The Fly Dubai aircraft that saw one of its engines failed, shortly after taking off from Kathmandu last night, has normally landed in Dubai- its destination. 

The plane that had a problem after a bird hit the engine has landed safely at Dubai International Airport.

According to Dubai International Airport, the flight number 576 FZ landed at 12:11 am local time on Tuesday.

The flight that took off from Tribhuvan International Airport to Dubai on Monday night had an engine failure.

Immediately after taking off from the airport, the engine of the plane was seen with a loud noise and a flash of fire.

The airport authorities decided to open the flight after the pilot said the plane was in normal condition and was heading towards its destination.

According to Assistant Spokesperson of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal CAAN, Gyanendra Bhul, preparations were made for an emergency landing after the plane’s engine malfunctioned.

According to the airport, there were 167 passengers onboard the plane.
