Kathmandu : The advance booking of public transport tickets for the Dashain festival will be open from October 9, Monday. A joint meeting of concerned bodies was held on Friday at the Department of Transport Management, which decided to open the advance ticket booking from Monday. Traffic Police personnel, employees of the department, and transport businessmen were present in the meeting,

Saroj Sitaula, the senior Vice Chairperson of the Nepal National Transport Entrepreneurs Association, informed Ratopati that despite the decision to open advance ticket booking, no other decision has been made regarding the management of additional transport services.

He informed that more homework is being done on vehicle fares, the number of vehicles and opening the route permit.
