Policies and programs stress consolidation of democracy, social justice, prosperity (full text)
Kathmandu : The government has made public the policies and programs for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2081/082 BS on Tuesday.
President Ramchandra Paudel read out the policies and programs at the joint sitting of the federal parliament in New Baneshwar.
It took him around two hours to finish reading the policies and programs. Outlined in 217 points, the document of policies and programs contains 9,419 words.
The policies and programs for the FY 2081/082 have been formulated in line with the 16th Fifth-Year Plan, said the President.
“The policies and programs have prioritized the consolidation of the democracy, economic revitalization, social justice and prosperity,” said the President while presenting the policies and programs, “The government aims to improve collaboration between central, provincial, and local authorities by consolidating and streamlining the federal administration.”
The budget will be spent according to the 16th Fifth-Year Plan, said the President.
